XP System Details

The XP system is designed to reward our users for their active participation and support of the Comet Protocol. As we celebrate 3 months since the mainnet launch, this system aims to give back to our early supporters by offering XP rewards for every mainnet transaction and various time-limited tasks. These XP will allow users to level up their accounts and unlock exclusive benefits.

In addition to rewarding new transactions, we will also be retrospectively awarding XP for past transactions. This means that if you’ve been an active user since April, you’ll receive appropriate XP for your historical activities. This retroactive reward system ensures that early adopters and loyal users are acknowledged and appreciated for their continued support.

Participating in the XP task system is straightforward. All you need to do is engage in Comet’s mainnet cross-chain bridge activities. Every successful transaction you make will earn you XP. Additionally, you can complete various quests that we’ll regularly update on our platform.

XP Rules

1 — Base XP: Earned with each successful mainnet cross-chain transaction, starting at a foundational 50 XP. Additional bonus XP is calculated based on the total transaction fees, including Destination Gas Cost and Bridge Fee.

Example calculations of transactions:

2 — Quest XP: Specific quests and rewards can be found on the quest details page. Examples include:

• Following the official Twitter account.

• Joining the Discord channel and have some verified roles.

• Participating in periodic onchain activities, voting, and more.

While Base XP from transactions is automatically awarded, Quest XP points will require manual claiming. This ensures that users are aware of and actively engaged with the tasks. To claim these points, users simply need to visit the task details page on our platform and follow the instructions to receive their rewards.

Some quests will be available only for a limited time. Make sure to complete these quests before they expire to maximize your XP earnings.
